Changing keyboard shortcuts

Here are the instructions to change keyboard shortcuts for Snow Leopard. You can do it on Leopard too but the steps are slightly different.

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click Keyboard
  3. Select the Keyboard Shortcuts tab
  4. Press the + button to add a keyboard shortcut
  5. Select Safari in the Application popup menu
  6. Enter Search Bookmarks… in the Menu Title text field (or Save Bookmark… if you want to change that shortcut)
  7. Press the key combination you want for the keyboard shortcut in the Keyboard Shortcut text field
  8. Press Add
