    Hi,

Three questions I couldn’t find the answers to on your site (or Google):

    - Can I bookmark multiple tabs (with the same tags) with DeliciousSafari? (I have sorely missed this in the Firefox plugin…)

    - If I try to bookmark a page in DeliciousSafari that I already have in my Delicious account, will DeliciousSafari notice and bring up my previous tags?

    - Is there a free trial period? If so, how long is it?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hi Taggart,

    1. No, you cannot bookmark multiple tabs simultaneously.

    2. Yes, DeliciousSafari will show your current tags if you’ve already bookmarked a page.

    3. DeliciousSafari is free to use (there is no time limit), but unregistered copies have a registration reminder that appears every so often when you open a bookmark from the Delicious menu or perform a bookmark search.

  3. Taggart says:

Thanks, doug! I’ll definitely check out your app then. But do consider the multiple tabs tagging – it would have been so awesome!

Oh yes, search is a great add ..
    Thanks ;)

Searching by title doesn’t work for me. I can only search tags. Here are some screen shots…

    Thanks.

    Hi Christopher,

To search by title, you have to click the search icon (the magnifying glass). It will show a menu where you can select to search by tag or by title.

  7. sam says:

is there a way to change the keyboard shortcut for the search function?

  8. doug says:

@sam, yes, you can change the keyboard shortcut, but not directly from DeliciousSafari. Please see this documentation page I just created:

    Well done!
Now your plugin is complete and I can finally stop using delicious webpage :)

    Thank you!

Wishlist for the future version of the search window:
    - also search by the content of the notes of a tag
    - combined search (title, tags and notes), showing result grouped by tags and bookmarls, similar to the firefox plugin, but with less options (browseable tree not necessary, sorting neither, just two groups): http://l.yimg.com/hr/12812/img/help/AddOn-SidebarFF.png
    - add a third line in each result with the list of tags the item has, in a very small font, and clickable to refine the search.
    - hoovering, or a small i button in each results shows all the details for the bookmark (notes, all tags, private/public, etc).
    - integrate with spotlight

    Hi there,

I don’t seem to be able to install the 1.9 version on Snow Leopard 10.6.3, each attempt ending with: “The installation failed.” Is there a log or something to check ?

    thanks a lot,

    :- alex

  12. doug says:

    Hi Alex,

I’ve tested installs on 10.6.3 and in general it works fine. I’ll e-mail you off list to investigate your specific issue.

  13. Eric says:

Hi, I find it a bit annoying to specify whether I’m searching by tags or title. Would be really cool to make both possible. And also to select from (remaining) available tags. Other than that, great app!

  14. doug says:

    Hi Eric,

I agree, it is a annoying. Thanks for the feedback.
