Bookmarks, an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that lets you access your del.icio.us bookmarks, was submitted to the iTunes App store today. It is a free download and will hopefully be approved soon. Keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks and send me your feedback.

Sounds great. I assume this is using something similar to Twitterrific? That is, a bookmarklet in Safari starting with (in Twitterrific’s case) twitterrific:// that would launch Bookmarks and allow you to bookmark from there?
Chris,
No, Bookmarks is currently read-only. That is, you can use del.icio.us bookmarks you’ve saved elsewhere but you cannot create new ones.
I hadn’t considered adding save functionality using a bookmarklet like Twitterific. That is a great idea. I’ve used Twitterific a little but not enough to know you could do that. Thanks for the suggestion. I’m putting it on the TODO list now.
