Bookmarks - del.icio.us for the iPhone and iPod Touch

BookmarksBookmarks, an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that lets you access your del.icio.us bookmarks, was submitted to the iTunes App store today. It is a free download and will hopefully be approved soon. Keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks and send me your feedback.

Sounds great. I assume this is using something similar to Twitterrific? That is, a bookmarklet in Safari starting with (in Twitterrific’s case) twitterrific:// that would launch Bookmarks and allow you to bookmark from there?

    Chris,

No, Bookmarks is currently read-only. That is, you can use del.icio.us bookmarks you’ve saved elsewhere but you cannot create new ones.

I hadn’t considered adding save functionality using a bookmarklet like Twitterific. That is a great idea. I’ve used Twitterific a little but not enough to know you could do that. Thanks for the suggestion. I’m putting it on the TODO list now.
