DeliciousSafari 1.2 - Initial Public Release

Version 1.2 of DeliciousSafari was released November 26, 2007. After about two months of living on, I decided it was ready for the real world. This release has the following new features:

  • A list of all your del.icio.us tags.
  • Select your favorite del.icio.us tags for quick and easy access
  • Auto-populates URL and web-site title for new posts.
  • Recently bookmarked items
  • Search popular del.icio.us tags related to your tags
  • Links to the del.icio.us website

CORRECTION: I had previously posted this release as 1.3. I’ve since corrected it. This release was 1.2.

One of the features in the del.icio.us API that has me using Firefox and its extension is the recommended and popular tags suggestion! I just click those that I think are appropriate and avoid typing! (as with adding the selected text on the page to the “Notes” on the link)

When I see that feature in this plugin I’ll definitely give it another go! :)

    Keep it up! :)

PS: I can’t run it anymore… my Safari won’t start and will leak over 1Gb of while using 100% of the CPU… I disabled all plugins and it was yours the one bugging… :S

    weird…

I got a fix for this that will be posted this weekend along with a few other features.

Works great, except that I get the ’spinning colorwheel’ for about 3 seconds after I post a bookmark (Safari 3.0.4 on OS X 10.5.1).

Thanks for the feedback Andy. The problem you are seeing is related to the problem Levi reported, which I have a fix for and will be posting sometime today.
